Caravan, Motorhome & Campervan Conversions
Keeps vehicle gross weight below the critical 3,500 kg B-license threshold. Widely ordered in 12 mm and 15 mm AB/BB grade for overhead lockers, kitchen units, bed platforms, and HPL-laminated partitions.
Tever Orman A.Ş. is the official export representative of Turkish partner mills producing ultra-lightweight poplar plywood (~420–450 kg/m³) in AB/BB, BB/BB, and BB/CC grades (4 mm to 30 mm) for caravan interiors, yacht cabinetry, furniture, and packaging.
Where payload limits, fuel efficiency, and ease of machining are decisive, lightweight poplar plywood from our Turkish partner mills provides an unmatched advantage. With an average density of 420 to 450 kg/m³, poplar panels weigh over 35% less than dense hardwood or birch panels of the same thickness, while maintaining excellent dimensional stability, screw retention, and panel flatness.
The pale, creamy-white, fine-grained face veneers are free of resin pockets and dark heartwood stains, making them an ideal substrate for HPL/CPL high-pressure laminates, PVC/melamine foils, natural wood veneers, direct painting, and clean CNC/laser cutting. Panels are manufactured in E1 low formaldehyde emission class (interior MR glue or exterior WBP option), packed on ISPM 15 pallets with a 3 to 4 week production lead time. TSE and ISO quality certificates are available per product on request.

Because poplar plywood has an average density of 380 to 430 kg/m³—roughly 40% lighter than birch or beech panels—importers gain a significant volume advantage per shipment. Whereas dense hardwood plywood reaches a truck or container weight limit at 30 to 36 m³, lightweight poplar plywood can utilize the full cubic capacity of a mega trailer or 40' High Cube container (often loading 40 to 48 m³ per unit without exceeding axle weight limits), substantially lowering your landed freight cost per sheet.
All poplar panels are manufactured in our Turkish partner mills under a 3 to 4 week production schedule, adhering to Class E1 low formaldehyde emission standards. TSE and ISO certificates are available per product on request, and every export order is shipped on ISPM 15 heat-treated pallets with EUR.1 movement certificates where applicable.

Provides a stable, non-warping core for veneered cabin bulkheads, hotel doors, exhibition booth walls, and perforated acoustic ceiling panels.
Thin 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, and 6 mm poplar sheets cut rapidly on CO2 lasers with clean light edges, while BB/CC grades in 8–18 mm reduce air-freight and sea-freight crating weight.
Poplar plywood has a density of ~420–450 kg/m³ compared to ~640–700 kg/m³ for birch. This means 1 m³ of poplar weighs ~430 kg instead of ~670 kg, allowing higher volume loading inside mega trailers and 40' HC containers without exceeding road axle weight limits.
Yes. Alongside standard 1250×2500 mm and 1220×2440 mm panels, our Turkish partner mills produce wide-format 1700×2100 mm and 1700×2500 mm poplar sheets, which minimize joints in caravan walls and large furniture panels.
All poplar plywood panels comply with the E1 low formaldehyde emission class. Standard production uses clean interior MR (urea-formaldehyde) resin for furniture and laser cutting, with moisture-resistant / WBP phenolic bonding available on request.
TSE and ISO quality certificates are available per product on request (note: no FSC claim applies to poplar plywood). Every export shipment is packed on ISPM 15 heat-treated pallets and accompanied by EUR.1 (where applicable), Certificate of Origin, and Phytosanitary Certificate, with a 3 to 4 week production time.
