Engineered for High-Cycle Concrete Shuttering & Heavy Transport Flooring
Birch film-faced plywood is the backbone of modern civil engineering, high-rise slab and wall formwork, bridge construction, and commercial vehicle flooring. Produced by our Turkish partner mills using 100% cross-banded birch veneers and exterior WBP phenolic glue (EN 314-2 Class 3), our panels resist boiling water, concrete alkalinity, and high hydrostatic pouring pressures without swelling or delamination.
Both surfaces are hot-pressed with dark brown or black phenolic resin-impregnated paper in 120 g/m² (standard multi-pour shuttering) or heavy-duty 220 g/m² (extended cycle architectural concrete and heavy abrasion). All four panel edges are factory-sealed with water-resistant acrylic paint to minimize moisture absorption on site. Standard thicknesses span 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, and 30 mm in 1250×2500 mm and 1220×2440 mm formats.
Concrete Formwork Engineering, Edge Protection & Export Supply
On high-cycle civil engineering and residential tower projects, formwork failure generally begins at the panel edges where wet concrete slurry and alkaline moisture penetrate unsealed veneers. Our Turkish partner mills seal all four edges of every film-faced birch plywood sheet with water-resistant acrylic paint immediately after trimming. Combined with EN 314-2 Class 3 WBP phenolic bonding and 120 g/m² or 220 g/m² phenolic resin film overlays, this minimizes edge swelling and prevents delamination during repeated pouring, stripping, and high-pressure washing cycles.
Whether you require 18 mm and 21 mm smooth F/F shuttering boards for slab and column formwork or 15 mm to 30 mm hexa/wire-mesh F/W anti-slip panels for trailer beds and scaffolding platforms, Tever Orman A.Ş. coordinates direct factory dispatches in ~30 m³ road trucks and ~36 m³ 40' HC containers within a 3 to 4 week production schedule.
